Delhi Airport pourrait bientôt avoir son deuxième terminal international
Des plans sont en cours pour équiper le Terminal 1 de Delhi pour les vols internationaux. L’aéroport international Indira Gandhi de New Delhi (DEL) pourrait bientôt avoir son deuxième terminal international, avec IndiGo demandant à l’opérateur de l’aéroport Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) d’équiper le Terminal 1 pour les opérations internationales. Actuellement, IndiGo gère la plupart de ses vols à partir du Terminal 1 (T1) à l’aéroport de Delhi et certains à partir du Terminal 2 (T2). Mais pour ses vols internationaux, elle doit opérer à partir du Terminal 3 (T3), qui est actuellement le seul terminal de l’aéroport à gérer les vols internationaux. Cependant, cela pourrait bientôt changer avec l’achèvement de l’expansion de T1.
Une commodité pour les compagnies aériennes et les passagers
L’aéroport de Delhi a subi une jolie transformation en 2010 pour les jeux du Commonwealth lorsqu’un tout nouveau Terminal 3 a été mis en opération. Planification du nouveau plan de terminal

Pour l’aéroport de Delhi, qui n’est pas seulement le plus achalandé de l’Inde, mais aussi l’un des plus achalandés d’Asie et est le domicile de géants comme IndiGo, il serait certainement utile d’avoir un terminal international supplémentaire. Avec les compagnies aériennes poussant également pour la même chose, il semble que ce ne soit qu’une question de temps avant que l’ajout du nouveau terminal ne se fasse.
